I am completely aware of the watchband issues Suunto has with the Observer watch. (Over 100 bucks for the replacement band and it only lasts 3 years or so). I bought this cheaper band and had to have a jeweler put it on but so far it is working fine, does not appear to be tearing (the problem with the first one) and is functioning just fine.
