Heavy, but overall not too shabby. May 22, 2010

The Origo Granite Peak watch is a beast for sure. It's heavy, but that's to be expected from it's cast metal case. It also seems to lose time a little quicker than some watches, but that could be due to a bad battery. The compass is OK (not as good as the Suunto in my opinion), but really, watch compasses are niceties and not meant to be super accurate. The barometer and weather features are good though. And with it's size and weight, it can double as a riot shield...

This is a very handsome and functional watch. The only drawback to the reverse display, is that it can be hard to see the indicators of temp/weather. I exchanged the c02 for the standard c01 version and it was much easier to read.
